About

ARKY Studio is an independent animation studio based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, established in 2025 under Legend Media Group. We make commercials for brands, and when we're not working, we make our own animations.

From concept art and character design to storyboards, animation and compositing, we make the work in-house with a small team of directors, artists and animators. We tell stories rooted in Cambodia, like our passion projects ARKY PV and Puthisen Neang Kong Rey, and bring the same craft to every brand we work with.

Principles

We start with the story. Whether it's a commercial or one of our own films, we begin with the feeling we want people to leave with and build the animation backwards from there. Craft comes before trends: warm, hand-made visuals, clear characters and a style that fits the idea, not the other way round. We keep our team small and close, so directors, artists and animators work side by side from the first sketch to the final composite.
